江戸時代に刊行された世界最古の折り紙の専門書『秘傳千羽鶴折形』の技術を使い、現代的な感性で再構築した「Japanese Modern Renzuru Art」シリーズの作品です。
This piece belongs to the "Japanese Modern Renzuru Art" series, a contemporary reinterpretation of "Hiden Senbazuru Orikata"—the world's oldest origami book, published during the Edo period.
本作品『圍（い）』は、静寂の中に宿る温もりと、守るべき大切な絆を象徴しています。
The title "圍 — I" (meaning "Enclose" or "Surround") symbolizes the warmth residing in silence and the precious bonds that we protect.
55羽の変形青海波 (55 Lattice / Modified Seigaiha)：
大小異なるサイズの鶴を組み合わせた、複雑な格子状の連鶴です。
中心へ向かうほど密度を増す55羽の鶴たちは、「たった一枚の和紙」から途切れることなく折り上げられています。

As they cluster toward the center, these 55 cranes remain interconnected, folded from a single sheet of Washi paper without separation.
