江戸時代に刊行された世界最古の折り紙の専門書『秘傳千羽鶴折形』の技術を使い、現代的な感性で再構築した「Japanese Modern Renzuru Art」シリーズの作品です。
This piece belongs to the "Japanese Modern Renzuru Art" series, a contemporary reinterpretation of "Hiden Senbazuru Orikata"—the world's oldest origami book, published during the Edo period.
本作品『格（かく）』は、整然と並ぶ格子（ラティス）の美しさと、手染め和紙による色彩のうつろいを融合させた作品です。
The title "格 — Kaku" (meaning "Structure" or "Frame") represents the beauty of an orderly lattice merged with the shifting colors of hand-dyed Washi paper.
25羽の連なり (25 Interconnected Cranes)：
中心に配置された9羽の「青海波（せいかいは）」と、それらを囲むように並ぶ一回り大きな16羽。計25羽が、たった一枚の和紙から途切れることなく折り上げられています。
A total of 25 cranes are folded from a single sheet of paper without separation.
This includes 9 cranes at the center using the "Seigaiha" technique, surrounded by 16 slightly larger cranes.
手染めグラデーション (Hand-dyed Gradient)：
私が自ら彩色を施した手染めの和紙を使用しています。
一羽一羽に色が重なり、響き合いながら変化していくグラデーションは、同じものが二つとない一点ものです。
I used Washi paper that I hand-dyed myself.
The gradient, where colors overlap and resonate across each crane, creates a one-of-a-kind piece that can never be duplicated.
