江戸時代に刊行された世界最古の折り紙の専門書『秘傳千羽鶴折形』の技術を使い、現代的な感性で再構築した「Japanese Modern Renzuru Art」シリーズの作品です。
This piece belongs to the "Japanese Modern Renzuru Art" series, a contemporary reinterpretation of "Hiden Senbazuru Orikata"—the world's oldest origami book, published during the Edo period.
本作品『夢（ゆめ）』は、目覚める直前の穏やかで美しい夢のような、儚くも愛らしい世界観を表現しています。
The title "夢 — Yume" (meaning "Dream") embodies a gentle and lovely world, reminiscent of a peaceful, beautiful dream just before waking.
16羽の変形青海波 (16 Lattice / Modified Seigaiha)：
淡いパステルカラーに染め上げた和紙から、16羽の鶴を折り出しました。
格子状に連なる鶴たちは、「たった一枚の和紙」から生まれています。ところどころにあしらった金色の彩りが、夢の中の光の粒のようにきらめきます。
16 cranes are folded from a single sheet of hand-dyed Washi paper in soft pastel tones. Arranged in a lattice, they remain interconnected as a single piece.
