江戸時代に刊行された世界最古の折り紙の専門書『秘傳千羽鶴折形』の技術を使い、現代的な感性で再構築した「Japanese Modern Renzuru Art」シリーズの作品です。
This piece belongs to the "Japanese Modern Renzuru Art" series, a contemporary reinterpretation of "Hiden Senbazuru Orikata"—the world's oldest origami book, published during the Edo period.
本作品『響（きょう）』は、柔らかな色彩が奏でるハーモニーを、円と星のような造形で表現しています。
The title "響 — Kyou" (meaning "Resonance") represents the harmony created by soft colors, shaped into circles and a star-like center.
14羽の輪 (Outer Circle of 14)：
周囲を囲む14羽の連鶴は、淡いパステルカラーに手染めされた和紙を使用しています。
一羽一羽が色が移り変わる虹のように連なり、穏やかな円を描いています。
The 14 cranes forming the outer circle are made from hand-dyed Washi paper in gentle pastel tones. They connect like a rainbow, creating a peaceful circle.
中心の鼎 (Central "Kanae" of 3)：
円の中心には、3羽の鶴が翼を繋ぎ合う「鼎（かなえ）」という技法を用いた連鶴を配置。中心から外側へ、光が広がっていくような響きを感じさせます。
At the center is a "Kanae"—a set of 3 interconnected cranes. It evokes the feeling of light resonating outward from the center.
輝き (Sparkle)：
白銀の色紙を背景に、散りばめられたラインストーンが、朝露や星のようなきらめきを添えています。
Set against a silver-white shikishi board, scattered rhinestones add a sparkle reminiscent of morning dew or stars.
計17羽の鶴たちは、中心の3羽、周囲の14羽、それぞれが「たった一枚の紙」から折り上げられています。伝統と現代の輝きが共鳴する、静かな祈りのような姿をお楽しみください。
