江戸時代に刊行された世界最古の折り紙の専門書『秘傳千羽鶴折形』の技術を使い、現代的な感性で再構築した「Japanese Modern Renzuru Art」シリーズの作品です。
This piece belongs to the "Japanese Modern Renzuru Art" series, a contemporary reinterpretation of "Hiden Senbazuru Orikata"—the world's oldest origami book, published during the Edo period.
『彩（あや）』は、瑠璃色の夜空に解き放たれた光の色彩が、万華鏡のように広がっていく情景をイメージしています。
The title "彩 — Aya" (meaning "Vibrant Colors") evokes the imagery of kaleidoscope-like colors unfolding across a lapis lazuli night sky.
32羽の変形青海波 (32 Lattice / Modified Seigaiha)：
格子状に美しく並ぶ32羽もの鶴たち。
一見、独立しているように見えますが、すべて「たった一枚の和紙」に切り込みを入れ、繋がった状態で折り上げています。
