​一葉の森から / From a Single Leaf of the Forest ― 伊勢和紙の18連鶴 Renzuru (Connected Cranes) ​【作品について / About the Work】 ​江戸時代に刊行された世界最古の折り紙の専門書『秘傳千羽鶴折形』の技術を使い、現代的な感性で再構築した「Japanese Modern Renzuru Art」シリーズの作品です。 ​This piece belongs to the "Japanese Modern Renzuru Art" series, a contemporary reinterpretation of "Hiden Senbazuru Orikata"—the world's oldest origami book, published during the Edo period. 世界最古の折り紙の専門書『秘傅千羽鶴折形』に記された連鶴「青海波（せいかいは）」をアレンジし、ボックスフレーム内に18羽の鶴がはばたく作品に仕上げました。 I have arranged the "Seikaiha" (Blue Ocean Waves) pattern from the world's oldest origami book, "Hiden Senbazuru Orikata" (1797), into a display of 18 cranes fluttering within a box frame. ​三重県指定伝統工芸品である「手漉き伊勢和紙」の中でも、板干し乾燥ならではの刷毛跡と素朴な風合いが魅力の「生成り・板張り半草紙」を連鶴部分に使用しています。 For the cranes, I used "Ise Washi," a traditional handicraft designated by Mie Prefecture. Specifically, I chose "Kinari Itabari Hansoshi," which features a rustic texture and beautiful brush marks from the traditional board-drying process. ​一枚の和紙に細かな切り込みを入れ、18羽の鶴を一度も切り離すことなく一繋ぎに折り上げました。 All 18 cranes are meticulously folded from a single sheet of paper without ever being detached from one another. ​背景の台紙には、奈良・吉野の「森」の素材を活かした「木の紙」を使用しております。 The background is made of "Kino-kami" (wood paper), crafted from the natural materials of the Yoshino forests in Nara. ・​置くだけで彩るアート / Art that stands on its own: 厚みのあるボックスフレームを採用しているため、スタンドなしでそのまま自立します。本棚の隙間やデスクの片隅に、置くだけで小さなアート空間が生まれます。 The deep box frame allows the piece to stand independently. It creates a small art space simply by placing it on a bookshelf or the corner of your desk. ・​こだわりの素材 / Carefully selected materials: 手漉き和紙の清らかな白と、本物の木の質感が調和し、和洋どちらのインテリアにも馴染みます。 The pure white of the hand-poured washi and the texture of real wood harmonize beautifully, fitting both Japanese and Western-style interiors.
