「水面（みなも）」と名付けられたこの作品は、静かな水面を優しく広がっていく波紋（Ripples）の様子を捉え表現しました。
This piece, titled "Minamo" (Water Surface), captures the ripples gently spreading across a calm water surface.
連鶴たちが繋がり合うその姿は、「絆の連鎖」を象徴しています。光の当たり方で生まれる影の「ゆらぎ」も、この作品の魅力のひとつです。 The sight of the cranes connected to one another symbolizes a "chain of bonds." The "shimmer" (yuragi) of the shadows created by the light is another enchanting feature of this work.
小津和紙で購入した、白地に金銀が上品に舞う手漉き和紙を使用しています。
For this piece, I used elegant hand-dyed Washi paper with gold and silver accents on a white background, purchased from the historic Ozu Washi.
土台には、寸松庵サイズのミニ色紙「日本の色シリーズ：ふじむらさき」を合わせ、静謐な水面の奥行きを表現しました。
It is mounted on a Sunshoan-sized mini Shikishi board from the "Colors of Japan" series in "Fujimurasaki" (Wisteria Purple), creating a sense of depth like a serene water surface.

世界最古の折り紙本『秘傅千羽鶴折形』に記された伝統の技術で、一枚の和紙に細かな切り込みを入れ 11羽の鶴を折り上げました。
Using the traditional techniques documented in "Hiden Senbazuru Orikata," the world's oldest origami book, I have folded these 11 cranes from a single sheet of Washi paper by making delicate, intricate incisions.
