江戸時代に刊行された世界最古の折り紙の専門書『秘傳千羽鶴折形』の技術を使い、古典的な和紙にはない色彩を自ら手染めすることで、現代的な感性へと再構築した「Japanese Modern Renzuru Art」シリーズの作品です。
This piece belongs to the "Japanese Modern Renzuru Art" series, a contemporary reinterpretation of "Hiden Senbazuru Orikata"—the world's oldest origami book, published during the Edo period. By personally hand-dyeing the Washi paper with colors not found in traditional palettes, I have breathed new life into these classic forms.
