k.fabric輪の作品ができるまで　 Our Project

古い着物や帯のチカラを楽しむキモノアップサイクルのk.fabric輪（りん）です。 古い着物や帯をアップサイクルして、日常生活で使いやすいアイテムに生まれ変わらせるプロジェクトです。 着物に込められた歴史や美意識を大切にしながら、現代のライフスタイルに馴染むものを作っています。 この活動には障害者施設など多様な人たちが参加しています。 ■　k.fabric輪の作品ができるまで １．ご寄付の受け入れと保管 ご家庭で眠っている着物や帯をお預かりし、丁寧に仕分けて保管します。 ２．解き作業 障害者就労支援事業所の利用者が、着物や帯を解いて布に戻す作業を行います。 ３．洗い作業、縫製作業 解かれた布はていねいに手洗いされたあと、アップサイクルアイテムに仕立てられます。 これらは、イベントなどで販売されます。 ４．販売と再利用 解いた状態の布やハギレなどは、月1回の「のみの市」で販売され、再利用の輪が広がります。 イベントやのみの市の予定はinstagram、公式LINEでご案内しています。 k.fabric Rin: Embracing the Power of Old Kimono and Obi through Upcycling k.fabric Rin is a project dedicated to upcycling old kimono and obi into everyday items that seamlessly integrate into modern life. We cherish the history and aesthetic consciousness embedded in kimono, creating pieces that resonate with contemporary lifestyles. This initiative involves the participation of diverse individuals, including those from disability support facilities. How k.fabric Rin's Creations Come to Life 1.Receiving and Storing Donations We accept donations of kimono and obi that are no longer in use, carefully sorting and storing them for future use. 2.Deconstruction Process Users from disability employment support facilities carefully deconstruct the kimono and obi, returning them to fabric form. 3.Washing and Sewing The deconstructed fabrics are meticulously hand-washed and then transformed into upcycled items. These creations are sold at events and markets. 4.Sales and Reuse Unsewn fabrics and remnants are sold at our monthly "Nominoichi" market, promoting a cycle of reuse.
