茶釜や鉄瓶、土瓶の蓋や柄杓を置く茶道具です。
『三環鈴』とは青銅製の装飾用の馬具であったと言われています。
置物や文鎮としてもどうぞ。
炭や薪を使っての焼成の際、灰が被ったり焦げが入る変色等がありますが、景色（器の表情）としてご理解ください。

This is a green-glazed "Raku" ware lid rest, modeled after a "Sankan-rei" (three-ring bell) from the Kofun period. In the Japanese tea ceremony, a lid rest ("Futaoki") is a traditional utensil used to hold the lid of a tea kettle, iron kettle, or clay teapot, as well as the bamboo ladle.
The "Sankan-rei" (Three-Ring Bell):
It is believed that the original Sankan-rei was a bronze decorative horse trapping used during the Kofun period (approx. 3rd to 6th century).
This uniquely shaped lid rest is also beautifully suited to be used as a decorative ornament or a paperweight in your room.
During the firing process using charcoal or firewood, the piece may develop natural color variations, ash deposits, or scorch marks. Please appreciate these unique characteristics as part of the piece's individual personality and artistic landscape.
