大正時代の創業より着物や帯に刺繍してきた"花刺繍"と呼ばれる文様です。
手縫いで刺繍した後、2L判サイズ(17.8cmx12.7cm)に裁断してフレームに額装した作品になります。
真紅の生地に退紅(あらぞめ)の山桜を刺繍したことで、春うららな暖かさを感じさせる一品となっています。
また桜のしべに金糸を用いているので煌びやかで上品な雰囲気に仕上がっています。
艶のある絹糸を使用しているので、光の当たり具合によって光沢ある花刺繍の色合いが様々な表情を見せてくれます。
刺繍作品自体は和風ですが、シックで落ち着いた黒のフレームに額装しているので和室はもちろん、洋室に飾ってもお部屋の雰囲気に馴染むかと思います。
