This is an ”Ameyu” (Amber Glaze) Raku incense container shaped like a "Hoju-Hisago" (Auspicious Gourd with a Sacred Jewel Motif). In the Japanese tea ceremony, an incense container (”Kogo”) is a traditional utensil used to hold kneaded incense or aromatic wood.
