新シリーズをご紹介します。
「Seasonal Words in Ink」
季節とともに移り変わる、凪穂の言葉の作品です。
季節の中でふと感じた景色や音、生命の姿を、
一つひとつ言葉にして書にしています。

① 神無月
日本の和風月名。
神無月は10月を表します。
② 雫寂（しゃくせき）
静寂のなかで聴こえる雨音。
自然が奏でる美しい音楽を表した言葉です。
③ 蜻蛉
頭上を飛んでいた蜻蛉。
飛んでいる蜻蛉を見て、季節を感じたことから選びました。
④ 鱗雲
青空に一面広がる鱗雲を見かけると、
秋を迎えたことを実感します。
⑤ 露華
寒さが増すと、草花に宿る露がきらきらと輝きます。
その美しい姿を表した言葉です。

I would like to introduce a new series.
「Seasonal Words in Ink」
A collection of Nagiho’s word artworks that change with the seasons.
I put into words the scenery, sounds,
and forms of lifethat I happen to feel within each season,
and write each one as calligraphy.
① Kannazuki
A traditional Japanese name for a month.
Kannazuki refers to October.
② Shakuseki
The sound of rain heard in the silence.
It is a word expressing the beautiful music created by nature.
③ Dragonfly
A dragonfly that was flying overhead.
I chose it because seeing a flying dragonfly made me feel the season.
④ Urokigumo
When I see urokigumo spreading across the blue sky,
I feel that autumn has arrived.
⑤ Roka
As the cold increases, dew resting on flowers and plants sparkles.
It is a word expressing that beautiful appearance.
I put into words the scenery, sounds, and forms of life
that I happen to feel within each season,
and write each one as calligraphy.
I hope you will gently welcome
this piece into your entryway or room
and enjoy the beauty of the Japanese language,
traditional culture,
and the unique four seasons of Japan.
