It compares invoice numbers with your numbering rules and flags duplicates, possible gaps, and numbers that do not match the required format, helping you find entries that need review. A gap does not always mean an error: an invoice may have been canceled. The checker excludes recorded canceled numbers from missing-number checks to reduce unnecessary follow-up. It leaves invoice numbers unchanged, with no automatic corrections. Review flagged entries against your original records and make the final decisions yourself.
