ひと昔前には高価で一般庶民にはなかなか手に入らないような職人さんの手により精巧に作られたこれらの帯が、市場に出回っているのに驚いています。
現在私は、この日本の伝統的で美術品のような帯を使って、バッグを作っております。
バッグに仕立てた帯は、意外とどんな服装にも似合います。色彩によって男性にも喜ばれます。
このバッグを製作するのには、帯１本（帯の数え方）から１、２個分くらいの生地しか取れません。例え同じ帯から複数個分取ったとしても、全く同じ柄で取ることは難しいため、それぞれが唯一のオリジナル製品となります。
私の製作した帯のバッグは、絹製品では刺繍が金糸・銀糸で施され、美しく、軽くて型崩れなく丈夫です。布製品では帯の中でも気になった柄を中心に製作しています。これまで多くの人のご希望で様々な形をショルダーにしております。
コレクションの一つとして身に着けたり、またプレゼントとしても喜ばれると思います。

I am amazed to see these exquisitely crafted *obi*—once expensive items beyond the reach of the average person—now available on the market.
I currently create bags using these traditional Japanese *obi*, which are truly like works of art.
When fashioned into bags, these *obi* surprisingly complement a wide range of outfits; depending on the color scheme, they are also popular with men.
A single *obi* yields enough fabric for only one or two bags. Even when multiple bags are made from the same *obi*, it is difficult to replicate the exact pattern placement, making each bag a unique, one-of-a-kind creation.
My silk *obi* bags feature beautiful gold and silver thread embroidery; they are lightweight, durable, and retain their shape well. For fabric-based bags, I select *obi* with patterns that particularly appeal to me. I have also created various shoulder bag styles to meet the requests of many customers.
These bags make a wonderful addition to one's personal collection or a delightful gift.

あくまでハンドメイドですので既製カバンのようなきっちりした型に基づいた製作ではありませんが、帯の個性が出ている作品となっております。
また帯から製作しているため、製作過程の縫製で生地の糸が出ることがありますがご容赦ください。
取り扱いとして、普通に扱っていただいて問題ないのですが、敢えて長持ちさせるために可能であれば、正絹の場合についてはそのお手入れの最大のポイントとなる「湿気」「直射日光」「水濡れ」の３点にご注意ください。
長く愛用いただくため、使用後は是非、陰干しで湿気を逃してください。汗などが付着した場合は、水に浸して固く絞ったタオルで裏面から優しく叩いてから陰干ししてください。水濡れは、脱色や水染みの原因になりますのでご注意ください。ホコリなどが付いた場合は、和装用ブラシで優しくブラッシングして落としてください。
保管の際は、湿気を避け、防虫剤も直接触れないようにしてください。
・Notes on Purchase
As these are handmade items, they are not constructed using the rigid molds found in mass-produced bags; instead, each piece showcases the unique character of the *obi* fabric.
Please note that because the bags are crafted from *obi*, loose threads may occasionally appear during the sewing process.
While the bags can be handled normally, taking a few precautions will help ensure their longevity—especially for items made of pure silk. Please be mindful of the three main factors that affect silk: humidity, direct sunlight, and exposure to water.
To keep your bag in good condition for years to come, please air-dry it in the shade after use to remove any moisture. If the bag comes into contact with sweat, gently dab the back of the fabric with a towel that has been soaked in water and wrung out tightly, then let it air-dry in the shade. Please be careful to avoid getting the bag wet, as this can cause color fading or water stains. If dust accumulates, gently brush it off using a brush designed for traditional Japanese clothing.
When storing the bag, avoid humid areas and ensure that any mothballs or insect repellents do not come into direct contact with the fabric.
