古代のウタヒ一首一首を、黄金螺旋の流れに沿って描いたシリーズの作品です。
黒い紙に白い線だけで描くことで、ウタヒの持つ音の響きと、カタカムナが内包する“愛の念”が静かに浮かび上がるようにしています。
反対面には、その首の思念を曼荼羅のように可視化し、静かな祈りの形として表しました。
今回の作品は、

Katakamuna Utahi Mandala Series — Love Expands the Circle
This series is an exploration of the ancient Katakamuna Utahi, with each Utahi visualized along the flow of the Golden Spiral.
Drawn solely with white lines on black paper, the works seek to quietly reveal the resonance of the sounds within the Utahi and the sense of “love” believed to be held within Katakamuna.
On the reverse side, the thought or intention contained within each Utahi is visualized in the form of a mandala, expressed as a quiet form of prayer.

カタカムナとは？
一万年から数万年前に使用されていた神代文字の系統の文字。発見から70年ほどしか経過していません。大円と小円と直線の組み合わせで成る記号に近いもので、宇宙の文字といわれています。
この文字が渦巻き状に書かれているのがカタカムナウタヒというもので、和歌に似た構造をしています。カタカムナウタヒは80首伝えられており、目に見える世界と見えない世界の二重構造、超弦理論など、現代科学ではまだ解明されていない宇宙物理学、生命の本質、命・心の本質、生物の自然発生の仕組み等が記されています。
なかでも、5首と6首はいろは歌同様、(敗戦後に使用から消除されたヰとヱを含めた)日本語48音が一つも重ならずに入っています。
カタカムナウタヒ自体にはエネルギーがあると言われています。渦巻き状のウタヒを見たり、唱えたり身に付けることで好効果があるという説があります。
