丸い牛さんのオブジェです。 サイズ：直径約130ｍｍの球体 重　量：350g 素　材：ジェスモナイト 塗　料：ラッカー／水性塗料 ※重量は若干の個体差があります。 ※商品は１注文あたり牛１個です。牛が多数映っている写真は参考写真です。 ＜クラウスの牛とは＞ クラウスは、物理学者であるローレンス・クラウス氏の名前に由来しています。クラウス氏が物理学者のものの考え方の例を説明するにあたり、「牛はだいたい丸だ」として表面積や体積を計算しました。彼の説明では、牛の直径を２倍にすると、表面積が４倍になるのに対し、体積が８倍になるので、表面（皮）がもたない。だから大きさが２倍の牛はできない。ということでしたが、私はただこの「牛はだいたい丸」という言葉にインスピレーションを受けて、「クラウスの牛」を創作しました。 ＜注意点＞ ・片手で持つとちょうど滑って落としやすいサイズです。落下防止のため、両手で持ってお取り扱いください。 ・落下すると陶器のように割れて破損する恐れがありますのでご注意ください。特に耳は飛び出しているので破損しやすいためご注意ください。 ・ほこりをかぶった際にはクイックルワイパー等の不織布又は固く絞った雑巾で軽くふいてください。表面はラッカー仕上げですので色落ちはしませんが、目、鼻等は強くこすると色が剥離する場合がありますので軽くふいてください。 This is an object of a round cow. The price listed is per cow. Photos showing multiple cows are for reference only. About "Klaus's Cow": Klaus is named after physicist Lawrence Krauss. Krauss calculated the surface area and volume by assuming "cows are roughly spherical" when explaining an example of physicists' way of thinking. According to his explanation, if the diameter of a cow is doubled, the surface area becomes four times larger while the volume becomes eight times larger, so the skin cannot support it. Therefore, a cow twice the size cannot exist. Inspired by this phrase "cows are roughly spherical," I created "Klaus's Cow." Note: It is a size that tends to slip and fall easily when held with one hand. Please handle with both hands to prevent dropping. There is a risk of breakage like pottery if dropped, so please handle with care. Especially, the ears are protruding and prone to damage, so please be cautious.
