In fact, my own daughter has been able to stay motivated and tackle various tasks using these stickers—not just her daily homework, but also summer vacation assignments, reading aloud practice, and extracurricular activities. Educational research shows that rewarding the process rather than the outcome is far more effective in boosting a child's motivation. Instead of giving a reward for "getting a 100% test score," letting children place a sticker to celebrate "sticking with a routine" makes them want to collect more stickers.
