Thank you very much for your interest in my work. This artwork is created as an Artist-led Commission.
[Concept]
My dolls are created to be quiet companions—works of art that gently soften your heart whenever they catch your eye. Each piece is entirely handmade and is created as a one-of-a-kind artwork.
This series imagines a "future being" that may appear as AI gradually becomes part of our everyday lives. Although it has a human form, there is something subtly different. It is neither a visitor from the future nor a perfected human, but a life form still developing—a "shape of the future" still being tested. Its first step forward, the cardboard box, and the plastic bag symbolize the very moment this being first appeared in our world.
The original work (Serial No.000123) received the Grand Prize Runner-up (Mayor of Fukushima Award) at the 10th Creative Doll Competition, Doll Art Exhibition 2026. The doll on Instagram (Serial No.000124) was created as a commissioned work for a collector in Japan. Your commission will receive its own unique serial number, currently planned as 000125.
[About the Artwork]
The primary material is handmade Lokta paper dyed with walnut and pomegranate. Produced from the bark of the Lokta plant in the Himalayan region of Nepal, it is similar to Japanese Washi but possesses its own distinctive texture and character.
The face and body are sculpted entirely by hand. Because no molds are used, every doll develops its own individual expression. The joint design is inspired by ball-jointed dolls and sci-fi robots. Rather than creating movable joints, I focus on giving the figure a convincing robotic presence; the joints are sculptural and not articulated.
Thousands of small torn pieces of paper are carefully layered to create a hard, durable surface. The doll is permanently fixed to a wooden base to be displayed securely.
Thank you for considering this commission. I look forward to creating a new "Future Being" for your world.

Instead, it will become a new "future being" belonging to the same universe.
Progress photographs will be shared on Instagram throughout the creation process.
No personal information about the collector will ever be disclosed.
To preserve the artistic integrity of the work, changes cannot be made after completion.
[Production Schedule]
Production will begin after payment has been confirmed.
Estimated completion time is approximately 2 to 2.5 months.
