水引は、和紙を細くこよりにして作られた日本の伝統工芸。
その歴史はなんと約1,400年前、飛鳥時代にまでさかのぼります。
当時、遣隋使が中国からの文化を持ち帰り、贈り物に紅白の麻ひもを結んだのが始まりと伝えられています。
「魔除けの力」と「人と人を結ぶ力」が込められた水引は、贈答の心を形にするものとして大切にされてきました。
Piccoliffyでは、この古くからの想いを受け継ぎながら、ペットとオーナーさんの日常に寄り添う小さなアクセサリーへとアレンジしています。

Its history dates back about 1,400 years, to the Asuka period.
It is said that envoys returning from China tied gifts with red and white hemp cords, marking the beginning of this art.
Carrying the meaning of “protection against evil” and “bonding people together,” mizuhiki has long been cherished as a symbol of heartfelt connection.
