目玉画｜双瞳の守り目「重瞳」｜2016年個展「eye holic」出展作品

二つの瞳がこちらを見つめる、少し妖怪めいた目玉画です。 タイトルは「重瞳」。 ひとつの眼球のようにも、 小さな顔のようにも見える、不思議な存在感を持つ作品です。 目玉屋にとって、目は怖がらせるためだけのものではなく、 そばに在り、見守ってくれるような小さなお守りのようなもの。 けれどこの作品は、ただ見守るだけではなく、 どこか地下から生まれてきた眷属のような気配があります。 淡い輪郭、赤く走る血管、二つ並んだ青い瞳。 不気味さの中に、奇妙な愛嬌と静かな生命感を宿した一点です。 ケント紙に、水性色鉛筆と鉛筆を使って一点ずつ描いています。 本作は、2016年に東京・高円寺のTERRAPIN STATIONで開催した個展 「eye holic―冴羽日出郎の目玉中毒」に出展したオリジナル作品です。 簡易フレーム入り。 背面に吊り紐が付いており、壁掛けに対応しています。 玄関、作業机、本棚まわりなど、 日常の中に少し変わった視線を置きたい場所におすすめです。 冴羽日出郎 作品証明書付き。 【English】 Two blue irises gaze back from this slightly eerie eyeball artwork. The title, “Chōdō,” refers to an eye with two pupils. Although it resembles a single eyeball, it can also appear like a small face, giving the artwork a mysterious presence. For the artist, eyes are not merely frightening symbols. They are also like small protective charms that remain nearby and watch over you. However, this eye does not simply watch over you. It carries the presence of a strange creature that seems to have been born somewhere deep underground. A pale eyeball, branching red veins, and two blue irises come together in a unique piece filled with uncanniness, peculiar warmth, and a mysterious sense of life. This original artwork was exhibited at my 2016 solo exhibition, “eye holic,” held at TERRAPIN STATION in Koenji, Tokyo. Each detail was drawn by hand on Kent paper using pencil and water-soluble colored pencils. Recommended for an entrance hall, workspace, bookshelf, or anywhere you would like to add a strange and mysterious gaze to everyday life. The artwork comes in a simple frame. A hanging cord is attached to the back, allowing it to be displayed on a wall. The artwork is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
