目玉画｜ゾンビブルーの守り目｜2016年個展「eye holic」出展作品

淡い赤みを帯びた眼球の中に、蒼い瞳が浮かぶ目玉画です。 通称「ゾンビの蒼」。 やわらかな色合いの中に、 どこか眠りから覚めたものの気配や、静かにこちらを見つめ返す不思議な存在感があります。 目玉屋にとって、目は怖がらせるためだけのものではなく、 そばに在り、見守ってくれるような小さなお守りのようなもの。 こちらの作品では、そんな「守り目」の気配に、 ゾンビのような不穏さと、蒼い瞳の冷たい静けさを重ねました。 ケント紙を円形に切り抜き、 水性色鉛筆と鉛筆を使って一点ずつ描いています。 本作は、2016年に東京・高円寺のTERRAPIN STATIONで開催した個展 「eye holic―冴羽日出郎の目玉中毒」に出展したオリジナル作品です。 簡易フレーム入り。 背面に吊り紐が付いており、壁掛けに対応しています。 玄関、寝室、作業机まわりなど、 日常の中に少しだけ怪しい視線を置きたい場所におすすめです。 冴羽日出郎 作品証明書付き。 【English】 An original eyeball artwork featuring a blue iris set within a pale reddish eye. This piece is nicknamed “Zombie Blue.” Within its soft colors lies the presence of something newly awakened from sleep, together with the mysterious sensation of a quiet gaze looking back at you. For the artist, eyes are not merely frightening symbols. They are also like small protective charms that remain nearby and watch over you. In this piece, the presence of a guardian eye is combined with a zombie-like unease and the cool stillness of a blue iris. This original artwork was exhibited at my 2016 solo exhibition, “eye holic,” held at TERRAPIN STATION in Koenji, Tokyo. The artwork was created by cutting Kent paper into an oval shape and drawing each detail by hand with pencil and water-soluble colored pencils. Recommended for an entrance hall, bedroom, workspace, or anywhere you would like to add a slightly uncanny gaze to everyday life. The artwork comes in a simple frame. A hanging cord is attached to the back, allowing it to be displayed on a wall. The artwork is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
