目玉画｜翠の疲れ目｜2016年個展「eye holic」出展作品

淡い眼球の中に、翠色の瞳が浮かぶ目玉画です。 通称「翠の疲れ目」。 少し充血したような線と、静かな翠の瞳が、 眠れない夜や、何かを見つめ続けたあとの余韻を感じさせます。 目玉屋にとって、目は怖がらせるためだけのものではなく、 そばに在り、見守ってくれるような小さなお守りのようなもの。 こちらの作品は、強く輝く目というより、 疲れていても、まだこちらを見ていてくれる目。 不気味さの中に、少しだけ親しみと寂しさを感じる一点です。 ケント紙を円形に切り抜き、 水性色鉛筆と鉛筆を使って一点ずつ描いています。 本作は、2016年に東京・高円寺のTERRAPIN STATIONで開催した個展 「eye holic―冴羽日出郎の目玉中毒」に出展したオリジナル作品です。 簡易フレーム入り。 背面に吊り紐が付いており、壁掛けに対応しています。 玄関、寝室、作業机まわりなど、 静かな場所にそっと飾っていただくのにおすすめです。 冴羽日出郎 作品証明書付き。 【English】 An original eyeball artwork featuring an emerald-green iris set within a pale eye. This piece is nicknamed “Emerald Weary Eye.” The faintly bloodshot lines and the quiet green iris evoke sleepless nights and the lingering stillness after watching something for far too long. For the artist, eyes are not merely frightening symbols. They are also like small protective charms that remain nearby and watch over you. Rather than shining with strength, this eye appears tired, yet still quietly watches over you. Its slightly lonely gaze leaves a subtle and lasting impression. This original artwork was exhibited at my 2016 solo exhibition, “eye holic,” held at TERRAPIN STATION in Koenji, Tokyo. The artwork was created by cutting Kent paper into an oval shape and drawing each detail by hand with pencil and water-soluble colored pencils. Recommended for an entrance hall, bedroom, workspace, or any quiet place where you would like to display a mysterious gaze. The artwork comes in a simple frame. A hanging cord is attached to the back, allowing it to be displayed on a wall. The artwork is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
