目玉画｜猫目の守り目｜2016年個展「eye holic」出展作品

色い縦長の瞳孔が印象的な、通称「猫目」の目玉画です。 白と黒の円に囲まれた瞳は、猫の目にも、蛇の目にも、どこか異界の標識のようにも見えます。 目玉屋にとって、目は怖がらせるためだけのものではなく、 そばに在り、静かに見守ってくれる小さなお守りのような存在です。 本作には、そんな「守り目」の雰囲気と、少し催眠的で不思議な存在感を込めました。 本作は、2016年に東京・高円寺のTERRAPIN STATIONで開催した個展 「eye holic―冴羽日出郎の目玉中毒」に出展したオリジナル作品です。 ケント紙に、鉛筆、ミリペン、アルコールマーカーを中心に使用して、一点ずつ手描きで制作しました。 玄関や作業机、本棚まわりなど、日常の中に小さな視線と不思議なアクセントを置きたい場所におすすめです。 簡易フレーム入り。 冴羽日出郎の作品証明書をお付けします。 【English】 An original eyeball artwork featuring a striking yellow eye with a vertical pupil, affectionately nicknamed “Nekome” (“Cat Eye”). Surrounded by concentric circles of black and white, the eye may resemble a cat’s eye, a serpent’s eye, or a mysterious symbol from another world. For the artist, eyes are not merely frightening symbols. They can also be small guardians—quietly watching over the space around them. This piece combines the feeling of a protective eye with a hypnotic and otherworldly presence. This original artwork was exhibited at my 2016 solo exhibition, “eye holic,” held at TERRAPIN STATION in Koenji, Tokyo. Each detail was drawn by hand on Kent paper, mainly using pencil, fine-liner pens, and alcohol markers. Presented in a simple frame and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
