Camellia japonica Necklace Stained glass
We made this pendant with a Japanese design using a red camellia as a motif.
【Camellia design】
Camellia is an ancient Japanese plant that blooms from winter to early spring.
It is an evergreen tree with blue leaves all year round, and has been regarded as a flower waiting for spring and a tree of good luck.
It is also one of the auspicious motifs because of its sense of season as well as its congratulatory meaning.
It has been believed that camellias have the power to keep away bad luck and disease.
The red petals and green leaves are made of transparent glass, and the center is accented with yellow patterned glass.
Both pieces of glass have a deep and beautiful texture.
The clear colored glass can be used as a sun catcher or ornament.
A genuine leather string is attached.
The length can be adjusted by tying a knot.
The length is approximately 70 cm.
After antiquing, it was polished with metal polish.
It would be suitable for a casual girls' night out, as well as for a formal party or date.
