It's made relatively small, so you can use it for small shopping trips and such. Compared to bags made from obi (kimono sash), bags made from kimono fabric are softer. If you carry heavy items inside, the shape may deform easily. I recommend using a bottom board from a 100-yen shop or similar stores inside to prevent deformation.
