https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=usHVOx02Kbs&feature=youtu.be 【妖怪説明】 山梨県上野原市秋山に伝わる。 秋山の王の入りに〝ずずの田〟と呼ばれているところがある。 昔、百姓たちが粟をつくるために大刈りを焼いていた。一日中はたらき夕暮れになりそろそろ帰るかという頃「道に迷ったので一晩泊めて欲しい」と旅の坊さんが数珠を繰りながら頼んできた。百姓たちは人里離れた山の中だし、なんとなくあやしげなので「狐か狸が化けたものにちがいない」といって、数珠くり坊主を殺して大刈りと一緒に焼いてしまった。 それからというもの、日照りが続いたり、雨が何日も続いたりと作物がとれない年が続いた。 「なにか悪いものでもたたっているのではないか」「あの時の坊主は本物だったのでは」「きっと坊さんがたたっているにちがいない」などと噂が広まり、軽はずみに殺してしまったことを後悔して、ずずの田のあたりにお宮をつくっておまつりをした。 このお宮は今でも日吉山王さまとして残されている。 「数珠をくりくり一宿願う 狐狸の類じゃありやせん」 【参考文献】 『秋山文化協会版・秋山の民話』秋山村教育委員会発行 【Zuzu】 It is transmitted to Akiyama, Uenohara City, Yamanashi Prefecture.
