■【ロシア・ハンドメイドの歴史】：
長い歳月の中で、ロシアの女性達は繊細かつ色彩豊かな工芸品を造り上げる技術と伝統を継承し続けてきました。
創造性に富んだデザイン、鮮やかな色調、細部にまでこだわった手作業…これらはロシア工芸品の証として代々継承され、世界各地に知られています。
ロシアの女の子達はみな、お母さん、おばあちゃん、そしてひいおばあちゃん…と、家族の間で脈々と受け継がれた手工芸を受け継ぎます。女の子たちは一つ、もしくはそれ以上の伝統工芸を受け継ぐことから歴史の深みを受け止め、自らのアイディアや時代のインスピレーションを加えながら次の世代へと工芸のバトンを渡していきます。ロシアの女性たち一人一人が、愛と誇りを持ってハンドメイドの品々を紡いできたのです。

■【”Victoria"への想い】
"Victoria"は日本に住む1人のロシア人女性と、その友人である日本人女性によって立ち上げられました。


素敵なものを身にまとうと心が弾み、前向きな気持ちになるのは女性にとっては大切なこと。
私たちは、「ロシアらしさ」を繊細なアクセサリーに込めて日本にお届けしたいと願っています。
Victoriaがご紹介するアクセサリーを通して、ロシアと日本の繋がりが紡がれていくことを願っています。


For many years, russian women have been famous for their crafting: creative handiwork, unique design, bright colors and careful attention to detail became their signature style and quickly started to be not only recognized, but loved across the world. Every girl born in Russia is learning at least one and sometimes multiple types of crafting from an early age- mother or grandmother is paying a lot of attention to pass the family tradition on. Young ladies grow up ready to continue family patterns, designs and styles adding a couple of fresh details and ideas.
Polymer Clay is relatively new crafting material that was created in Germany. Local doll master created this unique type of clay to model heads and faces for dolls. The texture of the clay allows a skilled craftsmen to create an extremely detailed work and make almost any possible shape. The polymer clay quickly found its way to other countries and really soon became one of the favorite material for craftsmen all over the globe. Different pieces of art, dishes, accessories and much more was done by this newly invented clay mix.
In Russia polymeric clay was adopted by many artists as the material for jewelry and beauty accessories. As in any craft style, different masters took different roads. Each of the makers have their own signature style and design, so even a very picky consumer can find something at his own taste. One of the main categories in polymer clay art is flowers- looking so realistic, like ready to bloom roses after the spring shower with petals turning away from a strong wind. Flowers are made so meticulous that you think you can smell its aroma when holding the accessory in your hands,
