八重垣姫　（和紙押絵）F4サイズ

歌舞伎の演目の本朝廿四孝(にじゅうしこう)に登場する姫。上杉謙信の娘で,いいなずけ武田勝頼の命をすくうため,　凍った諏訪湖を諏訪法性の兜を携えて勝頼危機を知らせに行く場面を表した作品です。若竹和紙人形で使われている和紙は職人に一枚一枚丹念に布の様な感触の手絞り和紙に特別仕立を依頼しております。56年の経験から人形制作についての材料の選定等に格別の配慮しております。　例えば和紙の宿命である退色等は避けられませんが、退色しても作品の品と格を損なわない色合いを保持するよう制作されております。 本来の布押絵は羽子板の様に作品厚みが5～7ｃｍ位いあります。それに供う額やケースが極めて高額になりす。　若竹和紙人形では購入者さまの立場になって額を既製品使用し販売価格を可能な限り抑えておりますが作品の立体感を表現する様に仕上げております。 This princess appears in the kabuki play "Nijushikou" (The Twenty-Four Filial Pieties of Japan). This work depicts the scene in which, as the daughter of Uesugi Kenshin, she crosses the frozen Lake Suwa carrying Suwa Hosho's helmet to inform her fiancé, Takeda Katsuyori, of his peril in order to save his life. The washi paper used in Wakatake Washi Dolls is specially hand-pressed by artisans, painstakingly crafting each piece to create a cloth-like texture. Drawing on 60 years of experience, we take exceptional care in selecting materials for our dolls. While fading is inevitable with washi paper, these dolls are crafted to retain their color without detracting from the quality and dignity of the piece. Original nunooshie (cloth-pressed pictures) are approximately 5-7 cm thick, like a battledore. The accompanying frames and cases are extremely expensive. Wakatake Washi Dolls consider the customer's perspective and use pre-made frames to keep the selling price as low as possible, while still allowing the dolls to express their three-dimensionality.
